Reporting Requirements

When you get benefits, there are changes you must report to the Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF).

 

To view the changes you must report for Food Assistance, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), or Child Care, click here.

 

To view the changes you must report for the following PPS programs:
How you can report a change to us?
You have these options to report a change. Choose the option that is easiest for you.
  • Online: You can click on the Report a Change link from the DCF Self-Service Portal (SSP) homepage when you are logged into your account.
  • By mail: To find the address for your local DCF office, you can click on the Office Locations link from the DCF Self-Service Portal (SSP) homepage.
  • By fax: To find the fax number for your local DCF office, you can click on the Office Locations link from the DCF Self-Service Portal (SSP) homepage.
  • In person: To find the address for your local DCF office, you can click on the Office Locations link from the DCF Self-Service Portal (SSP) homepage.

 

How can you see what information we have on your case?
You can click the View Case Details link from the DCF Self-Service Portal (SSP) homepage when you are logged into your account. Your case number must be linked to your SSP account in order to see the information below:
  • What address and phone number we have for you
  • Who we have on your case
  • What benefits you are getting
  • What income and expenses you have told us about
  • What Child Care Provider we have on your Child Care case
